Self-Taught Pianist with No Hands Plays Beautifully

We all have unique – and sometimes quirky – talents, but Alexey Romanov from Zelenodolsk, Russia, brings talent to a whole different level.

Despite being born without fingers, the young, teenage boy enjoys showing off his unbelievable piano-playing skills. In fact, his musical ability had the Kazan Chamber Orchestra La Primavera’s chief conductor in complete awe.

You likely think this boy’s talent is stunning and inspirational as is, but there’s more.

Alexey is a self-taught piano player, first teaching himself to play at the young age of 13. At the time in which this video was made, Alexey had only been playing the piano for about a year and a half, which goes to show that a little practice each day certainly leads you down the path to success.

In addition to being born without hands, Alexey was also born with one leg and was adopted at the age of 12 after being abandoned by his birth parents. Regardless of his past, it’s easy to see how much talent he has.

If you have ever been told that you can’t do something, or failed at doing something you sought to do, just seeing Alexey Romanov’s talent will bring you the confidence you need to strive for the things you want in life.
